This was my first mini-split installation, and it was time consuming but easy. The system is very quiet while running, easily have a conversation standing next to it and I can't hear it standing around the corner of the building, 10' away. The installation is on a semi-secluded lake cottage with only nature for ambient noise, it is that quiet. I bought this in-line fan to pump warm air into a chase containing hot and cold water pipes. When outdoor temperatures drop below 15 degrees Fahrenheit, the air in the chase falls below freezing, so I was worried that the pipes would freeze. This little fan together with flex duct (I stripped away the outer insulation) solved the problem. 4-star Unit Woks Great But Concerned About The Lack Of Warranty Sep 08, 2016

It was easy to install and start up but in reading the manual no warranty is supplied unless the system is installed by a certified installer. The house was cold and it was Saturday so no option of contracting help. Gas furnaces are inherently reliable so probably not a problem but some warning may have changed my mind of self performing.

Rinnai EnergySaver ES38W Gas Fired Direct Vent Wall Furnace, LP, White - 36,500 BTU, 7-State Modulating gas valve, modulating blower, programmable thermostat, self diagnostic. Unbelievable difference in this like day and night highly recommend to anyone.
