I have extensive building trade skills so installing the AC unit was quite simple for me to tackle myself. I had to have a branch 220v electrical panel added to service the unit. The only problem I had was finding a HVAC contractor to test the unit for leaks prior to firing it up. Since most licensed HVAC contractors don't want to touch so small a job or they don't want the liability of signing off on the leak test if they did not install the unit themselves. Had this boiler for 2 winters now in MA. First winter was hard. This last one less so. Great product. Made is USA. Cast iron. Will last forever my plumber tells me. Still 84% efficient. Doesn't need yearly maintenance like the higher efficient junk out there. That high efficient junk also requires a power vent that is super loud. Consider that too in your purchase. I bought two of these electric baseboard heaters. My electrician said the installation instructions were very clear and was impressed with how well-engineered this product is. I find the baseboard units to be very attractive and they are providing very even heat.

The installation went as smooth as glass. The contractor was done in one day with my help. I am using this system to cool my garage (20 x 20 x 9) in FL. The system both indoor and outdoor units are unbelievably quite. The system is not cheap. However, you are getting a very high quality product worth every penny. On a 98/98 degree/humidity day the garage was cooled to 72 in about 90 minutes.
