A family member installed a 22k BTU Mitsubishi mini split in his 4 car garage (also purchased from ecomfort), i was so impressed with his unit i had to buy one myself. I bought this unit to heat and cool an 500sq ft 2 car, garage with 14' ceiling in NJ. I insulated the garage and self installed. This was just installed recently in mild temperatures so I can't comment on how well it can heat and cool my small structure but based on the air temp it should work pretty well. I bought this because it is a newer unit with a slightly higher SEER than the KE series. The other nice thing about Daikin is the temp setting on heat can go down to 50, which is good to keep a room that's not being used from freezing (other units only go as low as 65). Unit: No blower control. The blower lag time cant be adjusted. I would also recommend two stage instead of single stage. Looks well built. No apparent damage. Delivery: Old dominion delivery driver lied to me. Lead me on a goose chase for sheet metal sheers when he had a set in his truck the whole time. Claimed he couldn't unpack the unit from the pallet. When I returned he had the whole thing unpacked. Unprofessional crap.

If you have electric baseboard heat and are looking for a premium product this seems to be pretty much the only game in town. It looks about as good as a baseboard heater can do and exudes quality. The thing weighs about ten times a regular heater of similar size so holds heat much better - though ultimately you are buying this for looks not performance.
