5-star Love Is Fantech Sep 19, 2016

I used this inline fan to hook up to my vent hood in my kitchen. Even though this product was assembled in America, the motor was made in Germany and you certainly can't go wrong with German technology. I also brought LD10 silencer to attach directly to the fan and placed the silencer between the vent hood and the fan. I also purchased the FC10 clamp to hold the silencer and fan in place. I find the clamp itself was not good enough to hold fan and the silencer. To give me a piece of mind,... more

5-star Combi 151 Sep 13, 2016

My contractor purchased the 151 combi from local warehouse. I just wanted to share experiences for the whole deal of getting this one. Technicians under supervision by certified plumber were struggling of how they were going to install and had it fired, back and fort with rewiring, and reconnect piping for a few occasions, saying they were difficult to install. Two vents with about 3-4 inches diameters... more

Envision the air flow between where the air will eventually come in and where it will be exhausted once you install the ductwork. Lastly, based on the inlet and exhaust locations, figure out where you want to position the unit you are going to use. Now there are lot's of installation tips an experienced professional can offer you while going through this process, but common sense and a... more

5-star A Great Little Fan Sep 12, 2016

I bought this in-line fan to pump warm air into a chase containing hot and cold water pipes. When outdoor temperatures drop below 15 degrees Fahrenheit, the air in the chase falls below freezing, so I was worried that the pipes would freeze. This little fan together with flex duct (I stripped away the outer insulation) solved the problem. I have a thermostat in the chase and a control system that turns on the fan when the chase temperature drops below 40 degrees F. Now I can spend time... more
