A Great Little Fan Sep 16, 2016

I bought this in-line fan to pump warm air into a chase containing hot and cold water pipes. When outdoor temperatures drop below 15 degrees Fahrenheit, the air in the chase falls below freezing, so I was worried that the pipes would freeze. This little fan together with flex duct (I stripped away the outer insulation) solved the problem. Replacement Boiler Jun 10, 2016

I had to buy a boiler to replace one leaking ,putting pilot out..i like the electronic ignition, but seems to be more to go wrong...replace boards $100...standing pilot ,no problems..except leaks in boiler...ill fire warranty claim later...6 year old boiler......i like quality of weil mcclain....we will see about warranty...ps installer now has parkinsons, and will not/can't cooperate......

Warmwire Heated Floor Jun 02, 2016

I installed a WarmWire heated floor in a 6'x8' coat room that had no other source of heat. It is on a concrete slab with 2 outside walls and a wall to an unheated attached garage. I glued 2 6mm thick sheets of Cerazorb synthetic cork directly on the concrete. It was super easy to lay the wire on top on the cork using the metal clip system provided. To be safe, I laid a sheet of 1/4" luan plywood on top of the wires while laying the tile. I checked the resistance in the wires at each step... more

We bought this unit to replace a 30 year old unit. We wanted one very similar so installation would be easy and a do it yourself job. I am always leery about on line shopping, but ecomfort made me comfortable with my experience. The unit was exactly what we wanted and installation was fantastic. We had to modify one piece of duct work--which was really nothing. I would shop at ecomfort in the future.
