I bought this unit not knowing if it would heat my 19 x 21 kitchen, but to my surprise I have not had to turn the unit any higher than 4 and that was on a -20 day . So my wife is well pleased with me.

We replaced an Amana unit with the LG that claimed to be the quietest on the market. It is definitely quieter and we have had it installed for two weeks, running every day, however it is not quiet by any means. After researching many brands of ductless mini splits I decided on Daikin. They are a front runner in industry and edge out the Mitsubishi in performance. I installed the system myself and was pleased with the detailed instructions. You still need a certified HVAC installer to test the system for leaks and release the refrigerant. I was very happy to do business with eComfort as they were very knowledgeable and helpful when ordering the unit and line kit.
