I bought a home that needed some work, and a furnace was one of the items it needed. I have never replaced one before, so checking for the right one was not an easy task. There are so many brands to choose from, and the price range and size also. So I looked around for some months and finally decided to try goodman, the brand that was originally in the home. Replaced out a Rheem 90% with this unit. Easy installation. Very quite running. Seems to run less than the old unit. Highly recommend.

May Need A Tune Up Sep 30, 2016

We've now had 3 months of use from the boiler and it has performed well, and though the purchase and installation wasn't cheap, it heats our large home well with a hydronic/forced-air system. Lately we have had a problem with the fan racing noisily and exhaust huffing and puffing. My installer is away, so I'm hoping it is a programming issue that I can resolve. A good help phone number for the unit would be nice. Perfect purchase, delivery, etc. by eComfort

My husband and i are old (70 and 60), and we were able to install this thing by ourselves, though it is heavy, and it is difficult to lift it above your head into the attic. We did have an electrician come do the wiring, but, it comes with a cord and a plug, so we were able to connect it to a wall outlet and use it for the couple of weeks it took for the electrician to come. without a switch, it just runs on high, but that's what you're most likely to use in the summer anyway. it's very... more
